Longchamp lets nature take the reins

A surreal, artistic vision unfolds in the French capital city in a fully AI-driven film for the luxury leather goods house.  Co-founded by Wes Walker and Louis Gheysens, new global creative studio Obsidian has unveiled this cinematic, AI-driven spot, titled Paris Vertigo, for French luxury house Longchamp.

The project, helmed by Creative Director Anton Tammi in close collaboration with Director Audrey Mascina and Head of Story at Obsidian, Marc Vena, sees the cobbled streets of Paris erupt into a surreal and cinematic landscape, where elegant horses gallop across rooftops and blooming nature overtakes architecture.

“‘Paris Vertigo’ was truly a creative dream,” shares Obsidian co-founders Wes Walker and Louis Gheysens. “We went to Longchamp with a bold artistic ambition led by Anton’s vision. The question was simple and daunting at the same time: How far can generative AI be pushed to support a story that still feels human, emotional, and handmade? Every frame became a study in balance between technology and instinct, scale and restraint, experimentation and authenticity.”
