Winning its first of two Grand Prix awards, mobile game Clash of Clans won the Entertainment Lions Grand Prix for its "Clash From the past" film, produced by Spark & Riot Los Angeles.

The full-length documentary film, which was created to mark the game's 10th anniversary, served as a creative reimagining of the game's heritage as if it were actually 40 years old. It featured era-specific renderings of the game (such as mock arcade and 8-bit versions).

Three gold Lions were awarded to US entrants, including Duolingo, Skittles and Nike for its

"Nike FC presents the footballverse" campaign, which depicts scientists devising a universe which will bring together legendary players from all eras in history.

Two additional gold Lions were given to Lebanon's Abaad Resource Centre for Gender Equality and Noblex/Paramount, entered by Argentina.
