Ad Council

The Ad Council and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) debuted “Tell That to Them,” a new suite of PSAs from creative agency Standard Practice that confronts the dangerous belief—especially common among men 18–34—that driving high is safe or even improves focus. The spots surface the excuses people tell themselves after using marijuana, then flip them to reveal the real, often deadly consequences, reinforcing the campaign’s message: If you feel different, you drive different. Backed by stark storytelling and produced by Spark & Riot, the work rolls out nationwide across donated TV, digital, print and OOH media as part of the long-running Drug-Impaired Driving Prevention effort.
