Growing up with one parent serving in the military, Elisha Smith-Leverock became accustomed to frequent relocations. This nomadic upbringing not only shaped her perspective on culture but also honed her ability to understand people deeply. This innate skill in perceiving new trends seamlessly weaves into her filmmaking process, allowing her to transform the mundane into the cinematically extraordinary across a spectrum of mediums, including promos, fashion films, documentaries, and commercials.

Although her journey commenced as a photographer, Elisha has since crafted an illustrious and award-winning portfolio, consistently redefining her cinematic signature with each new endeavor she undertakes. Her fervor for art direction and cinematography radiates through every project, melding careful consideration with a distinctive style.

In her cinematic creations, Smith-Leverock exhibits fearlessness, confronting themes such as diversity and gender stereotypes with a blend of maturity and tenderness. Notable among her accolades is the NOWNESS short film 'Triple Beam Dream,' produced for Ghetto Gastro, a poignant exploration that garnered recognition. Similarly, her short documentary "Miss Black Germany" has achieved acclaim, clinching multiple awards for Best Short Documentary and gaining screenings at esteemed events like the BlackStar Festival.
